CRY BABY CRY

KOLUMBUS meets ARMSTRONG

The moonlanding is a pie in the sky, Laika still roams the streets of Moscow – Meanwhile, in America in the 50s. A small town. Hounded by a nosy neighbour and bored by his job at an adventure trip agency, Foster escapes into the cozy seclusion of his secret closet. Day after day.
Here, he daydreams about the serenity and infinity of space while busy inventing the „Super Intelligent Space Ship“, SISS. But nothing eludes the spying neighbour which alerts the press.
Suddenly, Foster is all over the front pages and his bosses at the agency come up with the next big attraction to save their ailing business: Travel into Space!
They acquire all rights on SISS before they send the first living being into the black void: Foster, hero and world‘s first space tourist. To boldly ram the flag of commercial tourism into foreign soils.
Cheered on by the frenetic crowds, Foster enters the tiny space rocket. But nobody ever said adventure was a walk in the park (unless that park is subjected to meteor showers). What if Columbus took the wrong turn and came ashore on Mars and not the coast of America?
